So I stayed up most of the night packing and finalizing things for my trip.
It was mostly unnecessary, and the lateness was of course helped by a healthy serving of retrogaming. (Diablo II + Eastern Sun mod = a whole new kind of crack.)

And of course, today, when I'm leaving, we're getting another snow storm. As of now, my flight isn't delayed, but who knows what'll happen. I've got a 2 hour window to catch my connecting flight in Heathrow. Missing it would be a bitch royale, though not a disaster.

My kitty however, is totally unperturbed by everything going on. In fact, she may have discovered a superior form of consciousness.

I'm heading out this New Year's Eve on a visit to Kolkata.
I'll be there two weeks with my family, which should prove to be interesting.
I will likely be available sporadically through the internet, and I plan to be in touch with the world at large through LJ.
